This is my favorite Dr. Suess book of all time. That’s because my mom couldn’t read it. I mean…she could read most of it. But when she got to the Bim bends Ben’s broom, she’d start tripping up. Then she’d start to laugh, and she laughed so hard a couple of times tears came to her eyes. I loved my mom’s laughter. Consequently, I used to pick up this book almost every night. I think she hid it for a while. So can YOU read this out loud? Bim comes. Ben comes. Bim brings Ben broom. Ben brings Bim broom. Ben bends Bim’s broom. Bim bends Ben’s broom. Bim’s bends. Ben’s bends. Ben’s bent broom breaks. Bim’s bent broom breaks. Ben’s band. Bim’s band. Big bands. Pig bands. Bim and Ben lead bands with brooms. Ben’s band bangs and Bim’s band booms.
